Privacy notice

A short, plain-language summary of how we handle your information.

Effective date: October 29, 2026

What we collect

When you use the request form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, ZIP code, email (if you give one), your best time to call, whether you have Medicare Part B, and any message you add. We also keep a record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time. Our server also records your IP address and browser type with each request, to help prevent spam and to document consent.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your request for information about Medicare Part B coverage of blood glucose meters and supplies, and to contact you about it in the ways you agreed to when you checked the consent box.

Who we may share it with

We may share your information with one Medicare-enrolled diabetes supply provider so they can follow up and answer your request. We don’t sell your information to multiple companies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We use service providers (such as our web host and email) only to run this site.

Contact by phone, text and email

If you check the consent box, DiabetesMeter.com and a Medicare-enrolled diabetes supply provider may contact you by phone (including calls and texts from automated technology), text, or email about blood glucose meters and Medicare Part B coverage, at the number and email you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to a text, tell the caller to stop, or email us.

What not to share

This site will never ask for your Medicare number, Social Security number, bank or card details, or detailed medical information. Please do not enter them in the form. We don’t need them to respond to your request.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking scripts.

How long we keep it

We keep your request only as long as needed to respond to it and to keep a record of your consent, and then delete it or remove identifying details. Records of consent may be kept longer where the law or good practice calls for it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Opt out, access or deletion

To opt out of contact, or to ask us to correct or delete your information, email info@diabetesmeter.com. Please include your name and phone number so we can find your request. If we already passed your request to a supplier, we will also ask them to stop contacting you.

Not affiliated with Medicare

DiabetesMeter.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Medicare, CMS or the U.S. government, and does not provide medical advice.
